Shimano Surf Combos - Aqua Tip Medium Surf Rod + Aerlex Surf Reel

Built on a fibreglass blank, you’ll find that all models are light and flexible, and with the integrated glass tip you can be sure the whole rod is built to withstand a great amount of hassle from your target species. With a completely new look, the Shimano land-standing Aqua Tip range just got even better.

The new Aerlex offers a long cast ARC spool which allows for minimum spool lip friction for casting and line release. There is an additional bearing on the main gear to improve the overall smoothness of rotation while the handle has been upgraded to machined Aluminium, to improve the overall strength. As with all the big pit long cast reels the Aerlex XSB is a worm driven oscillating system (Aerowrap II).
